St. Jude patients compete in the US Challenge
When that Journey song "Don’t Stop Believing” pops into my head, I can’t help but laugh. There we were, the charity team at the first-ever US Challenge—an event where teams from different companies compete while raising money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Basically, it’s a 48-hour event that’s like taking the SAT while doing a triathlon.

David L. Kjolhede
Dave Kjolhede (pronounced "coal-heed") is currently the Executive Director of the Roanoke Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, a position he assumed in February of 1997. Prior to his arrival in the Roanoke Valley, Kjolhede served as Executive Director of the Amana Colonies Convention and Visitors Bureau in Iowa.
 
David Rozelle
While in Iraq, Maj. Rozelle lost part of his right leg when a landmine exploded under his Humvee. After rehabilitation as a below-the-knee amputee, Major Rozelle made the decision to return to active duty – the first American soldier to do so in modern times. Maj. Rozelle is helping his fellow injured soldiers to reclaim an active lifestyle, working at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
